Available for both the Genesis and the SNES, there are some striking differences. The Genesis is the superior of the two, more polish, better graphics, music that actually fits, and more importantly, the controls aren’t weird. A massive backdrop is used, while you control a small vehicle that turns slowly, but accelerates fast. It moves not much faster than Mario running. No matter how many times I ram into something, the car isn’t destroyed. The music may fit, but it is weird. There is a gear shift in this game, not like it makes much of a difference, save for when you need to hit the C button and move into reverse. The SNES version is abyssmal. It has worse graphics, it lacks polish needed, and it is more of a test course with smaller run ways, complete with obstacles to slow you down.
