Yozuki Drive

No Save Points, No Boredom

It may do me well to look in the end credits of movies that I intend to pass over.  It’s not Martin Lawrence, but Christ Tucker (never heard of him), and the more famous Jackie Chan.  Both are paired up again to investigate a criminal organization shrouded in secrecy for nearly 500 years.  It all starts with an over the top policeman dancing, strutting and waving on traffic… leading to a traffic jam and pile up.  His friend meanwhile, is helping the Chinese ambassador reveal just who the head of the criminal organization is.  Until an assassination attempt.  The fancy stunts start, as does the car chase.  Throw in over the top humor, flashing to serious in the span of 10 seconds - don’t forget the info dumping, and you have this movie.  It isn’t executed very well.
