Terminal

This is a Tom Hanks movie, some reviews list it as a poor performance compared to his normal work.  I liked this movie, strangely enough.  It was slow paced, and at times I would expect it to get boring, but once it picks up, it doesn’t stop, it keeps going.  There’s enough going on in this movie to keep you active, as long as you can sit still in a seat long enough, that is.

Tom Hanks plays a man from a fictional country, Krakotia, they speak a variant of Bulgarian, but reviews show his passport is of a woman’s name and is from another country altogether.  There’s quite a few discrepencies in this movie, but if you overlook them, it’ll be enjoyable.  Now, Mr. Nvoraski (I think that’s his name), gets stuck in an airport terminal due to his country’s old government enjoying a coupe and the new government is not recognized by the US.  His passport is no longer valid and he is forced to stay in the Terminal.  Slowly he gets the hang of things.

And that’s it.  There’s quite a few chuckles in this movie and it has a nice build up.  It’s pretty straight forward.  You can expect this from a Tom Hanks movie.
