No Save Points, No Boredom

Archive for April 25th, 2008

In furthering understanding of the self, I’ve stumbled across MBTI, and it’s been educational, to say the least.  I’ve finally nailed down my own type.  The tests reveal INTP, but something feels off.  I don’t relate with other INTPs at all.  An elitist mentality is prevalent, especially against outsiders and other personality types.  Wild theories and philosophies run wild with an obsessive fervor, but it is a hit or miss if they’re grounded in real world principle.  When the conversations are good, they’re awesome, but they are pretty boring for the most part.  These violate several of my core beliefs and principles, so I had to look elsewhere.  INTJ feels like a slow and steady burn of ideas, but a few things were missing.  I didn’t bother wasting time on this one, too many things stuck out to trigger my gut instinct.

ISTP was the one that fits the best, based on the description, and descriptions given by others.  There are not any ISTP forums on the Internet.  People give different reasons for it, but they don’t add up.  So I’ve made my own.  I feels like a doomed failure, but we’ll see.

ISTPVector, ready for launch.
