This movie strangely enough, feels like the Hills Have Eyes. Unlike the Hills Have Eyes, this movie doesn’t focus on character personalization or development, but focuses on the overall plot. A family known as the Devil’s Rejects has a search and destroy issued against their lone ranch, there is a shootout and they escape. The rest of the movie is spent with them trying to find a way to getting down to business as usual, enjoying a little pleasure along the way, but mostly torturing any innocent victims they run across.
This movie takes place in Texas, and has the stereotypical personalities to match. I was pretty turned off from the overall movie when it was all over. I kept watching to see if anything good would happen, but nothing did.
Most people will not like this movie, those who don’t mind some gore and cruelty will probably love it.
