I heard talk of the newest beta and how it has been more streamlined. I’ve taken a look at it, and I can’t really say I was impressed. Most of my add-ons and themes didn’t work. The only one to be updated for use with it, is Google.
I would expect nothing less of Google.
What I did see was animations added to the tab bar. I don’t need bloat. The theme has been made bigger and bloated. The address bar has taken auto-complete to a new level. It has small icons of the website, text for it comes up, as well as the title and address. It takes up two lines this time. The bookmarks bar has had some new features added to it, recently opened pages, recently used bookmarks etc.
My right click had issues. Opening numerous tabs in quick succession would crash the browser.
Use this only if you want to test Firefox. Otherwise, stick with 2.0. This beta is definitely NOT ready for the public.
