Now here is a fun anime. It’s been awhile since I’ve seen on this good. Before watching this anime, there are two ways you can watch it. There is the regular episode order, which is out of order. There is the chronological order of episodes, and can make more sense.
Haruhi is a girl who has just finished Japanese middle school, and is moving onto the non-mandatory schools. She meets Kyon here, but this is more than a fated meeting. Due to spoilers I won’t get into details, but Haruhi gets the spark and inspiration to form her own club from Kyon. All of the other clubs she’s joined so far have been boring. She’s become somewhat of a legend around the school as a result. Haruhi starts searching around for more victims… I mean more club members. All of them have something special or weird about them, Kyon is the only one who is normal. Haruhi has different genres within the series, as well as numerous references to Japanese culture.
During the first episode, you may find yourself getting bored. Keep watching. It gets good at the end. You’ll have to see the first three episodes to really get into this anime.
Props to the makers of the dancing at the end. It is very fluid. There are fourteen episodes total, so it is possible to have a marathon and watch them all in one day.
